Fong Sai Yuk, also known as Fang Shi Yu in Mandarin or The Legend in North America, is a 1993 Hong Kong kung fu movie starring Jet Li and directed by Corey Yuen. It tells the tale of Fong Sai Yuk, a young kung-fu master who spends his days playing around with his friends instead of learning. He slowly comes to learn that his father is the head of the Red Flower Society, a group dedicated to bringing down the evil Chinese Emperor (one of the Chinese Triads). The rest of this film watches as Fong Sai Yuk matures into the legendary Chinese warrior he comes to be. The film has strong comic elements and features Fong Sai Yuk's mother as a main character. There is also a sequel.
