Ford V platform - Definition

The V platform is Ford Motor Company's minivan platform.

It is used in the following vehicles:

• 2004 Ford Freestar
• 2004 Mercury Monterey

V2

An updated version based on the Ford CD3 platform will debut in 2009.

It will be used for the following vehicles:

• 2009 Ford Freestar (code name V229)
• 2009 Mercury Monterey (code name V229)
