FreeGEM - Definition

FreeGEM is a computer GUI first released in 1985. GEM stands for "Graphical Environment Manager". FreeGEM is the open source version of Digital Research's GEM.

OpenGEM is a FreeGEM distribution. Other distributions include Owen's FreeGEM Distribution, and FreeGEM 3.00b.
