Fulla Fulla

Fulla - Definition and Overview

In Norse mythology, Fulla (or Fylla) is one of the three handmaids of Frigg, together with Gna and Hlin.

She is the one who takes care of Frigg's coffer and shoes.

In a kenning gold is said "Fulla's ribbon".

Her name is related to the adjective fullr that means full.

Volla is probably another spelling of Fulla. If so she was a sister of Frigg's according to the Merseburger formulae.
