Fungus the Bogeyman (1979) is a children's graphic novel, by British artist Raymond Briggs. It details episodes in the daily life of the titular character, a working classBogeyman with the mundane job of scareing human children. The bogey society is very similar British society but bogey men enjoy the inverse of that which humans appreciate: Dirt instead of cleanliness, stink instaed of perfume, slimy and spoiled food etc.
