Galen John Strawson is a British philosopher who deals primarily with Philosophy of mind, Metaphysics, British empiricists, Ethics, Immanuel Kant and Identity. He is also the son of P. F. Strawson. As of Fall 2004 (http://web.gc.cuny.edu/Philosophy/newfaculty03.htm), he is a professor at the City University of New York.
