Gateway Football Conference - Definition and Overview

The Gateway Football Conference is a College Athletic Conference which operates in the midwestern United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I-AA as a football-only conference.

Charter members included Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana State, Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois, Southwest Missouri State, and Western Illinois.

Former member: Eastern Illinois (1985-1995).
