Gay bomb - Definition and Overview |

Gay bomb is an informal name for a potential non-lethal chemical weapon, which a U.S. Air Force research laboratory speculated about producing. The Wright Laboratory suggested in a three-page proposal that a strong aphrodisiac could be dropped on enemy troops, ideally one which would cause them to be sexually attracted to one another. The aphrodisiac weapon was described as "distasteful but completely non-lethal". The proposal, which was written in 1994 and contained a number of other ideas for non-lethal weapons, was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. It is not known whether this chemical has been developed further.
