Geminids - Definition and Overview

The Geminids are a meteor shower caused by an object named 3200 Phaethon. In 2002 they peaked after sunset Friday, December 13. In 2004, they were very numerous and peaked after sunset on the 13th of December. The rate per hour was about 160 at peak.
