Gen 13 is a series of comics published by Image Comics. It follows the story of a group of teenagers who descend from the members of an elite military team which are recruited to take part in a classified government experiment called Project Genesis. The experiment had the intention of unlocking the powers they inherited from their parents and turn them into super-human beings. Three girls (Fairchild, Rainmaker and Freefall) and two guys (Grunge and Burnout) have their powers freed and escape the military compound they were locked in. They then slowly uncover the truth about their origins.
The original Gen 13 group moved to their own series: Danger Girl, giving place to two other formations.
