Gender feminism - Definition and Overview

Gender feminsim is a phrase coined by Christina Hoff Sommers in her book Who Stole Feminism (Simon & Schuster, 1994) to describe the mainstream of the contemporary feminist movement, which she felt was unduely gynocentric (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Gynocentric). She contrasted this term with "equity feminism."
