Geometry (1988) is an album by the American ambient musician Robert Rich. This is the most active and structured album Rich had released until this time. The music was inspired in part by the complex tessellated patterns and vibrant color of Islamic tile designs like those found at the Alhambra.
The first three tracks consist of complexly layered sequences of electronic notes in rich, organic sounding chiming tones. Rich used sounds such as these until the release of Gaudi in 1991. Tracks four through seven are slow textures more common to Robert Richs work. The album ends with another active piece similar to the first three tracks.
Several tracks were mixed by Richs future collaborator Steve Roach at his studio in Venice, California.
