Georgetown Phantoms - Definition and Overview

The first co-ed a cappella group of Georgetown University, the Phantoms are an ensemble that performs pop music and hosts the annual D.C. A cappella Festival - "DCAF." The group gets its unique name from a comment one of the Jesuit priests on campus made when hearing the original group caroling - "you seem to show up everywhere, like a bunch of Phantoms!"

Founded in 1988, roughly 18 people (give or take) in an SATB format + vocal percussion and solo(s). Notable for singing for many high-profile Washington D.C. audiences and clients, including the Air Force, Kennedy Center, State Department, Hot 99.5 pop radio station, and others.
