Gerhard is the professional name of a Canadian comics artist known for the elaborately detailed background drawings in Dave Sim's series Cerebus the Aardvark, on which he has worked since that comic's 65th issue. He is also fond of photography (some later issues of the comic book have covers based on his scenic photos) and sailing. Gerhard does not reveal his last name.
