 German Workers' Party - Definition 

The German Workers' Party (German: Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, short DAP) was a briefly existing progenitor of the NSDAP (National Socialist German Workers' Party). It was founded on January 5 1919 by Anton Drexler and Karl Harrer. On February 24 1920 was renamed to NSDAP.

To fake a bigger membership numbers the party started counting their member at 500. Adolf Hitler got the membership number 555 when he joined the party on October 19 1919.
