Givatayim (גבעתיים) is a city in Israel on the central coastal strip. It is located just east of Tel Aviv, and is a part of the metropolis known as Gush Dan in the Tel Aviv District. It has about 55,000 residents. Its name is the Hebrew term for "Two Hills", as the heart of the city is located on two hills.
