Glenn Tipton of Judas Priest
Glenn Tipton, born as Glenn Raymond Tipton on October 25, 1948 in Blackheath, England, is one of the lead guitarists for British heavy metal institution Judas Priest. Tipton is best known for his complex, sometimes classically influenced solos and his legendary double lead guitar trades with fellow Priest guitarist K.K. Downing.
One of the things he is best known for is the mighty sweeping solo in the song Painkiller, it comes down as the shock of a lifetime and leaves nobody untouched.
