Goibniu - Definition and Overview

In Irish mythology Goibniu or Goibhniu was the smith of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His weapons were always lethal, and his beer gave the drinker immortality. He may also have been a thunder god.

His Welsh equivalent was Govannon.
