Gold Beach was the codename for one of the invasion beaches during the World War II Allied invasion of Normandy, June 6, 1944. It lay roughly in the centre of the invasion area, between Omaha Beach and Juno Beach.

The beaches of D-Day are still known by their invasion codenames today.
