Gonabad (گناباد in Persian) is a city in the south of Khorasan, Iran. It is mostly well-known because of Gonabadi Dervishs. It is also one of the most important producers of saffron in the country.its main cities are Bajestan,kakhk or kakht.beedoukht and main villages are zeebad (zeabad)kalat,seno.belond and desfan . the famous ancient war of 11 rokh had happened between Iran and Turan in this city on the castell of zeabad and still the ancient castel exist all the people are persian the main group tribe in this area are sufis and esmailee and ajam.
