Grand Wizard Theodore is an African American hip hop DJ, known for his innovations in scratching and needle drops, which he invented (AMG), and other techniques. DJ Grandmaster Flash was Theodore's mentor, and he began teaching him DJing before he was even a teen.
In the 1980s, Theodore recorded as Grand Wizard Theodore & the Fantastic 5 MCs; they released "Can I Get a Soul Clap" in 1980 (see 1980 in music).
Not to be confused with the head of the KKK, the grand wizard.
