Gravelly Hill is an area of Birmingham, England.
It is best known for its motorway juction, Gravelly Hill Interchange, popularly known as Spaghetti Junction which provides the intersection between the A38(M) Aston Expressway from the cetre of Birmingham to the M6 motorway. The complex junction also supports local roads joining the two motorways. The design of the intersection was also made more than usually complex by the presence of two railway lines including a high speed electrified railway and the existence of two major canals including a turning basin and a river.
Gravelly Hill is approximately 3 miles North East of Birmingham City Centre. To the North west is West Bromwich and to the North East is Sutton Coldfield. The area comprises mostly victorian and pre-war housing, some of it in poor condition. The area appears to be in need of new investment and some re-juventation.
