Great South Africans was a series that ran on SABC3 in South Africa, based on the licsenced format of the BBC series Great Britons. Hosted by Noeleen Maholwana Sangqu and Denis Beckett, the series asked viewers to nominate for their greatest South African.
The top 100 were revealed on-air, and the top 10 were then voted upon.
