Greater Somalia is an ideology that seeks to create a unified Somali state in the Horn of Africa. This would involve the unification of Somalis living in Somalia/Somaliland, eastern Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya.
The policy has led to conflict, with Somalia enaging in armed warfare twice with Ethiopia over the Somali inhabited Ogaden region.
