GreatestWiki (www.greatestwiki.com (http://www.greatestwiki.com/Wiki)) is a collaborative wiki project that was begun by GreatestJounal in October, 2004. Based on other projects such as Wikipedia, GreatestWiki allows many users to freely edit nearly every article.
GreatestWiki is basically much less formal than other wikis, due to the varied demographic of the GreatestJournal community. For an example, these are some of the comments left on the talk page for the article about George W. Bush:
In support of President Bush
- "To say [Senator John F.] Kerry is better then [sic] Bush, then your [sic] a flaming idiot."
- "KERRY= FLIP FLOP!"
In support of Senator Kerry
- "Tell me, what has he [George W. Bush] done that's so heroic?"
- "I hate Bush, just for the record."
