The song Grooveallegiance is by Funkadelic and appears on their 1978 album One Nation Under a Groove. It was composed by George Clinton, Junie Morrison, and Bernie Worrell.
The lead vocals were performed by Junie Morrison. Skeet Curtis played bass.
This song features understated, sleazy beats with a vaguely Latin sound that is quickly expanded into very Latin-sounding vocals and, like much of the album, powerful and complex harmonies with a subtle jazzy musical background. It also features a powerful guitar solo from Michael Hampton.
