The Guardian, a.k.a. Jim Harper, is a fictional character in the DC Universe. Harper is a cop who becomes a vigilante to catch crooks that the law can't prosecute. He is aided by a group of boys known as The Newsboy Legion. A clone of the original character later became a Superman supporting character.
