Gundam 0083 - Definition and Overview |

Gundam 0083 is an anime series about the story that covers the battles of Operation Stardust from the point of view of Kou Uraki (Uraki Kō), a test pilot who becomes the pilot of Gundam Unit 1, attached to the ship Albion in order to pursue Anavel Gato, the Nightmare of Solomon and follower of Aiguille Delaz, who stole the Gundam Unit 2. The Delaz fleet steals Gundam Unit 2, and its nuclear payload, in order to ressurect the Principality of Zeon and destroy the Earth Federation. The series ends with the creation of the Titans, an elite Zeon-hunting division of the Federal military, which leads directly into Zeta Gundam.
The series consists of 13 OVAs and a compilation movie, The Last Blitz of Zion. (please note that "Zion" was the official romanization of "Zeon" for many years) The Last Blitz of Zion, due to a timing error, was released before the final volume of the OVA, spoiling the end of the series and depressing sales of the videos as a result.
