Gwen Evans-Dozier is the sister of Parlet member, Janice Evans. She sang background vocals on Parlet's final album on Casablanca "Play Me Or Trade Me" in 1980. Gwen became a brief member of Parlet in summer 1980 when Janice became pregnant. Evans did all of the promotional photos, interviews and shows for the support of "Play Me Or Trade Me" before Parlet disbanded in 1981. Gwen also sang on Parliament "Trumbipulations" & Funkadelic "Electric Spanking Of War Babies" and other P Funk projects in the early 80's.
