Hamburger Hill is a 1987 American movie starring Dylan McDermott and Michael Boatman, directed by John Irvin and written by James Carabatsos. It is set in 1969 during the Vietnam War and based on the actions of an United States Army company's efforts to take a fortified hill in the A Shau Valley in Vietnam. The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures.
