Hampton, Peterborough - Definition

Hampton is Peterborough's Southern Township. There are currently two areas within Hampton Peterborough - Hampton Hargate and Hampton Vale.

The two areas share a central shopping Mall - Serpentine Green.

Both areas have seen rapid expansion over recent years, including the opening of primary schools in both areas. Work is currently underway on a secondary school to serve both areas and is due to be completed in 2005/2006.
