Hampton-in-Arden - Definition and Overview

Hampton-in-Arden is a small village in the metropolitan borough of Solihull, in the West Midlands of England, although previously it was in Warwickshire. Its population exceeds 3,400. It is so named because it was historically in the Forest of Arden.

It is located in the countryside between Birmingham and Coventry. The village is most notable for being used as the setting for the William Shakespeare play As You Like It.
