Harrow-on-the-Hill station is next to Northwick Park tube station, North Harrow tube station and West Harrow tube station: it is Zone 5.

Trains from the Metropolitan line and the Chiltern Lines serve the station. Starting from Aldgate or Baker Street a complex pattern of trains stop here. "Fast" and "semi fast" services do not stop between this station and Finchley Road station.

It has 6 platforms, two reserved for use by the Chiltern Line, although not exclusively.

This is the heart of Metro-land.
