Harry Greb (June 6, 1894 - October 22, 1926) was a light-heavyweight and middleweight boxing champion who fought 5 times against the future heavyweight champion, Gene Tunney. Harry Greb was the Ring Magazine's Fighter of the Year in 1924 and the Ring Magazine's Best Fighter-Middleweight in 1924 and 1925, and his fight against Mickey Walker in which Greb won in 15 rounds, was The Ring Magazine's Fight of the Year for 1925.
Greb was elected into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He was the world Middleweight Champion from 1923 to 1926. His career ring record was 264 wins and 23 losses with 12 draws. He was blind in one eye, but kept it secret for most of his fighting career. He died during surgery to repair facial injuries from boxing and an automobile accident.
