Hatching, Matching and Dispatching is a Canadian television sitcom pilot, which aired on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on January 17, 2005.
The show stars Mary Walsh as Mamesanne Furey, the matriarch of a family in Newfoundland and Labrador who own a combination ambulance, wedding and funeral business. The cast also includes Shaun Majumder, Mark McKinney and Susan Kent.
It was one of three sitcom pilots aired by the CBC, along with Getting Along Famously and Walter Ego, as a viewer response poll. Pilots that poll favourably will be developed into full series. The CBC previously employed this strategy with the shows Rideau Hall: The TV Series and An American in Canada.
