Herb Sendek - Definition

Herbert Walker Sendek (born February 22, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has been head college basketball coach at North Carolina State University since 1996. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University, he was previously an assistant coach at Providence College and the University Of Kentucky and head coach at Miami University of Ohio. He is the son of a coal miner's daughter. In 2004 he took the Wolfpack basketball team to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
