Herman C. Long (born April 13, 1866 in Chicago, Illinois, died September 17, 1909 in Denver, Colorado) was a baseball player for the Kansas City Cowboys (1889), Boston Beaneaters (now Atlanta Braves) (1890-1902), New York Highlanders (now New York Yankees) (1903), Detroit Tigers (1903), and the Philadelphia Phillies (1904).

After he finished his career as a shortstop, he managed in the minor leagues.
