In the science fiction television show Stargate SG-1, the fictional character Heru-ur was a Goa'uld on whom the Heru-ur of Egyptian mythology was based. Heru-ur was the son of Ra and inherited much of his empire after he was killed in the movie Stargate. He was also a fairly strong Goa'uld in his own right.
He died when Apophis thought he was being betrayed and destroyed his Hatak.
