Hildr - Definition and Overview

In Norse mythology, Hildr was one of the Valkyries. She is mentioned in Snorri Sturluson's Edda.Also is mentioned as Hδgni's daughter and Hedinn's wife (p.188-190).She had the power to revive the dead in battlefields. Also there is a one-woman band called Hildr Valkyrie http://www.hildr-valkyrie.cjb.net
