"Hole In My Heart (All the Way to China)" was the song recorded by pop singer Cyndi Lauper for her 1988 film Vibes. Along with the film, the song was a commercial failure. To many it marked the end of Lauper's success as a mainstream and widely popular artist, as the song was set up to be a huge smash hit (complete with a 10 minute short film music video).
