Homburg was also the name of a style of formal hat that was popular with politicians and diplomats in the mid-twentieth century. It is the title of a song by the British rock group, Procol Harum.
Homburg is a town in Germany, capital of the Saarpfalz district of Saarland. Population (2004): 45,769.
