Homefront is a mod of the computer game Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam. The game features a variety of Halo-esque and original content as well as changes to gameplay. The mod's first major release was a 0.1 beta for BF1942 with a number of patches being released, followed by a 0.2 release with similar patches. Develpment has shifted to BF:V and the next major release will be for that game. The new release will feature new vehicles and maps and take advantage of the improvements in the BF:V engine such as externally ridable vehicles.
