The Right Honourable Sir Francis Stanley Jackson (21 November 1870-9 March 1947), better known as the Honourable Stanley Jackson, was an English cricketer, soldier and politician.

Jackson played for Cambridge University, Yorkshire and England. He was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1894.

He captained England in 5 test matches in 1905, winning 2 and drawing 3 to retain The Ashes.

Jackson served in the Royal Lancaster Regiment of Militia in the second Boer War, and was Lieutenant-Colonel of a West Yorkshire Regiment battalion in World War I.

He was elected as an MP in 1915, representing Howdenshire (Yorkshire) until 1926. In 1927 he was appointed Governor of Bengal
