Hornchurch is a place in the London Borough of Havering. It probably gets its name from Saint Andrew`s church, near the town centre, which has a metal horned bull over the entrance.

During World War II Hornchurch Airfield was an important RAF station, home to a number of Spitfire squadrons.

Today it is a large sprawling suburb of London, overlooking the River Thames. The famous drum and bass label Ram Records is based in Hornchurch.
