House of the Nation (Jatiya Sangsad) is the combined upper house and lower house of Bangladesh. The current parliament of Bangladesh contains 300 seats. The last House election was January 10, 2001 and elections are called within every five years.
The current majority party is the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
