Howard Hesseman (born February 27, 1940 in Lebanon, Oregon) is an American actor.
Hesseman is best remembered as anti-disco disc jockey Dr. Johnny Fever on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, and as teacher Charlie Moore on the series Head of the Class. He was a real-life FM DJ for several months in his life well before his time as Johnny Fever. He has also appeared in several films, including This is Spinal Tap.
