Lindsay Ashford is a self-identified pedophile and girllover.
In 2003, he launched a website, The Human Face of Pedophilia (http://hfp.puellula.org), where he expounds his philosophy about pedophilia and calls for tolerance of pedophilia and the abolition of age of consent laws. He claims to dispel common myths about pedophiles, and explains how his definition of pedophilia differs from the one commonly accepted by society. The website encourages others to share their stories as well, and has an extensive discussion of the ethical issues surrounding pedophilia.
In a February, 2004 interview in a New Jersey newspaper, entitled “I’m tired of being forced into the shadows by society” (http://www.nj.com/specialprojects/expresstimes/index.ssf?/news/expresstimes/stories/molesters1_otherside.html) Ashford discusses his attraction and why he thinks that pedophiles should not be discriminated against by society.
