Humberto Quintero [oom-BERR-to kin-TAY-ro] (born August 8, 1979 in Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball catcher and right-handed batter who plays for the San Diego Padres (2003-present).
One of eight San Diego catchers behind the plate in 2003-04, Baseball America ranked Quintero number 19 in the Padres farm system.
In a two-year career, Quintero is a .242 hitter with two home runs and 12 RBI in 35 games.
