Infected Mushroom - Definition

Infected Mushroom is an Israeli psychedelic trance duo attaining some significant worldwide popularity from the late 1990s to the present time (2004). Hailing from Tel Aviv, Erez Aizen and Amit Duvedevani (aka Duvdev) have been able to retain the fanbase attracted by their earliest full-length release, 1999's The Gathering, through a consistent sonic evolution captured in further stages in subsequent albums Classical Mushroom (2000), BP Empire (2001) and Converting Vegetarians (2003), an ambitious and eclectic 2-CD set. The impact of the very-recently released IM The Supervisor (2004) remains to be seen.
