Interesting Times - Definition and Overview

Interesting Times is a novel in the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett.

The title of this book was inspired by the phrase May you live in interesting times.

In the story, the wizard Rincewind is transferred (via Magic) to the Counterweight Continent to help with a revolution against the government of the Agatean Empire. At the same time, Cohen the Barbarian is leading a group of warriors into the heart of the empire on a quest to steal something very valuable indeed.

Other featured characters include Twoflower and the Wizards of Unseen University.
